"Three's a Crowd" introduces the addition of guest vocalist Kara Figg LiCalsi, under the group name of Opus Jones. The members of Hughes & Dixon released this 12 song independent CD in 1998, definitely in the tradition of Indie acoustic music. Instead of waiting to be discovered, we took the "Do It Yourself (DIY)" credo to heart. The original CD was recorded and engineered by Geoff Turner of WGNS Recording Studios of Washington DC.

Songs for a Dupont Café is a collection of homemade tracks recorded at Hughes’ homestead throughout 2002. Song production varied with Hughes trying a variety of home PC recording plugins and software in search of getting the best recording possible. One of the tracks, “If Not Now, Then When,” was produced by guest guitarist Paul Gonzalez who played on the track and added some interesting layers to broaden out the overall sound of the song. However, the rest of the album is just Hughes’ amazingly intricate guitar riffs serving as a foundation for Dixon’s lyrics and melodies interwoven to create each song.

Digitally re-mastered by Canada’s Zac Tiessen of ZT Music Studio and distributed through CD Baby in July 2020. You can either listen or purchase these songs wherever you get your music today (iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, HearNow, etc.).
